Do ACC have the right to stop your payments for the amount of holiday pay you get?? Long story short, I've been on ACC for just under a year after fracturing my back badly. My job is no longer available so I'm getting paid out whatever holiday pay I'm owed, ACC have said they will suspend payments for the same amount of holiday pay I get.

I understand that you will not receive ACC payments for the applicable weeks that the holiday pay equates to.

 

Holiday pay is a percentage of your previous years earnings so you are effectively still in earnings and employment.
